Klout – a new tool to measure social media influence

Klout is a new social media site that measures users’ social media influence across their social network. There has been some criticism of Klout’s methodology – and thus the precision of the scores. Nevertheless, Klout is still a very interesting site and the idea has huge potential.

I think Klout will influence how corporations choose their viral marketers in the future, because it gives corporations a tool to measure how influential people are – both in general and in specific topics.
